When the famous game designer Cliff Bleszinski suddenly announced the Fortnite game at the Spike Video Game Awards in 2011, viewers were very enthusiastic about it. Its concept was born only three weeks ago. Only after six long years, the project reached the stage of "early access" for PS4 and Xbox One game consoles and Windows and macOS owners. The developers at Epic Games created a fantastic balance between finding resources, building and shooting the walking dead. Seasoned with nice cartoon graphics based on the Unreal Engine 4 system and an impressive amount of content, this game quickly captures the player, and it is extremely difficult to break away from it. Even though the release date of the game was on July 2017, Fortnite only gains popularity among both gaming gurus and rookies.
Epic Games Fortnite is a fun co-op survival simulator for up to four players. The gameplay is divided into three stages: The first stage requires collecting resources, saving those who survived, and completing side-quests. There's also a special item shop in the game menu, so if you need any missing material, you can buy it spending v-bucks. Fortnite v-bucks is an in-game currency, that can be earned for completing quick quests and extra missions. All these things bring you awards and honorary medals, which affect the value of an award chest you get after completing a mission.
In the second stage, you have to build a defensive fort around some important research equipment. It can be a crashed drone with valuable information, launching a rocket with a satellite on board or something else. You have to do everything possible to protect the object from the coming brain worms.
The third stage, as you probably already guessed, is a battle with the walking dead, trying to break through your defense. The player must survive the several waves of zombies, using the equipment, co-op playing, or any other method. If you succeed, the mission ends, and you get a reward.
The Fortnite Battle Royale game is also divided into seasons (now is Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 1). Starting from the second, each season has its own theme, plot and unique battle pass. There are ten of them now. Each season is being available for a certain period of time. To start playing the game, you have to create a Fortnite account. This account is your major pass for cross-platform Fortnite using.
Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2: Rumors
